Today on October 31, 2016, Lutherans and Catholics cohosted a joint commemoration of the Reformation, launching its 500th anniversary. The ceremony was held in the Lund Cathedral in Sweden. The joint commemoration is being held under the meaningful heading "From Conflict to Communion - Together in Hope." A joint statement was signed today, October 31, 2016, during the service by Pope Francis and LWF (Lutheran World Federation) President, Bishop Munib Younan. This statement encourages ongoing dialogue between the two churches. For more information go to:

Adult Bible Study 9 am. Sunday Mornings

Our Annual Fall Fare was a big success. Thanks to all for the help from the congregation and from the community. A portion of this event goes towards our Social Outreach program.

Andrew Lasslo and the congregation of New Life Ministry have been invited to attend our November 6th "First Sunday of the Month" potluck. Plan on attending, bringing your favorite dish, listening to some good music and welcoming them!

Governing Board will meet November 7th at 6:30pm in the Music Library.

Choir started up again on October 20th at 7:00pm. There will be no choir on November 3rd, but will resume again on November 10th. We will be working on new music for Advent, Christmas and The Annual Community Christmas concert.  We are always looking for new members!

The Church Women will meet on November 14th at 7:00pm. We will continue to discuss programs for the 2016-2107 meetings.

Adult Bible Study meets every Sunday morning at church at 9:00am. The study is an in depth study of  Paul's letter to the Romans. Come join us!

Our Power and Light program meets every Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00pm. This is an ecumenical Christian education program for all children from ages 3 to 12, so please invite your children's friends to come join! We started our regular program with the story of "Jonah and the big Fish." During November a special visitor from DWR will talk to the children about fish in Utah and their care. In November also, the child will be sharing things they are thankful for with activities and a food bank collection centered around Thankfulness. December activities will focus on Advent and the Christmas program which will be held on Sunday evening, December 18th at 6:00pm.

We will be hosting another AED/CPR instructional class on Friday, November 4th at 6:30pm. A simple soup and bread dinner will be served from 6:30pm to 7:00pm with the class immediately following. We encourage all to attend.

Pastor Locke's office hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 9:00am-1:00pm.  Other appointment times can be scheduled with Pastor Locke by calling his cell phone at 435-630-1069.

The Gift Shop is open on Sundays mornings from 9:30am to 10:15am and after fellowship hour or by making arrangements with Pam at 637-2921. NEW items are added on a regular basis.

Church Women meet on the third Monday of every month at 7:00pm.

Crafters meet on Fridays from 9:30am to 11:30am. The group is currently working on items from home. If you wish to help, Please contact Pam Adams.

Sign-up sheets for 2016 for flowers and coffee hour are in the Great Hall on the wall near the door (training is available). Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
