CONNECTIONS AND UPCOMING EVENTS

A Spiritual Retreat will be held on April 23rd, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. The retreat will be led by Pastor Bill Bruggeman. It will be held at the San Rafael Mission located on Hwy 10 in Huntington. There will be a $10 charge for materials and lunch. The spiritual renewal will be designed for you through the study of various forms of prayer and meditation. Call 637-0106 if you wish to attend.

May 15th, we will celebrate Pentecost during the our regular worship service. Come join us a day of renewal with the Holy Spirit.

The Women of the ELCA (WELCA), Rocky Mountain Synod, will be convening in Cheyenne, Wyoming this year for their 12th Biennial Convention. The theme is Called to Serve-Called to Give-Called to Love.  The dates are September 16-18, 2016.  More information on the convention can be found at www.rmselca.org/Ministries/Women. You can also contact Jan Young (new WELCA Board Member) for more information and registration materials. There are also scholarships for young women to attend.

Church Women of ASM will meet on April 18th at 7:00pm for their monthly meeting. The program will be "Flower Arranging." Please bring your own vases or decorative pots, flowers and green foam frog squares.
Theology on Tap will meet on April 19th this month at Grogg's. The topic is "eschatology", study of end times. Many questions will center on when Jesus will return and his resurrection. Come join us for good food and discussion.

Office Hours: 9:00am-1:00 pm Monday thru Friday

Resident Pastor Bill Bruggeman's office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00am-1:00pm. He will be available at other times as needed. Please call him to make an appointment at 210-391-3530 or leave a message on the church phone at 435-637-0106.

The Power and Light children's program meets every Wednesday at 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The children finished this year's program and will resume in the fall.

Adult Bible Study meets every Sunday morning at church at 9:00am. Come join us! The topic for April will focus the Holy Spirit in each of our lives.

Choir Practice will resume May 5th and we will be learning new music for Pentecost.  The choir meets on Thursdays at 7:00pm.

Spanish Class meets every Wednesday at 8:00pm. The community is welcome to attend. 

Church Women meet on the third Monday of every month at 7:00pm.

Theology on Tap meets every first Tuesday of the month at Grogg's at 7:00pm. Come enjoy good food and lively discussion.

Crafters have resumed meeting on Fridays from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Sign-up sheets for 2016 for flowers and coffee hour are in the Great Hall on the wall near the door (training is available). Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
