Ascension St. Matthew's has called Pastor James Locke to be our new pastor. He and his wife Samantha will be arriving in Price on June 16th and will preach his first official sermon on June 19th. Come welcome Pastor Jim and his wife Samantha. On July 23rd, Pastor Locke will be formally installed by The Rt. Rev. Scott Hayashi, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah and Bishop James Gonia, Bishop of the ELCA Rocky Mountain Synod.

On June 26th, The Rt. Rev. Scott Hayashi, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah will be making his annual visit to ASM. Please join us for worship and a BBQ right after worship. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided - please bring salads, chips and dips, fruit and desserts.

Vacation Bible School is coming up! It will be held at Price Chapel, 611 Price River Dr., July 18-22 from 9:30 to 12:30pm. Ages 3 years (potty trained) to 5th grade. The Worship, Music, and Art MAT will meet June 22th, at 6:30pm in the Music Library Room.

Governing Board will meet July 11th, at 6:30pm in the Music Library. (We usually meet the first Monday of the month, but the meeting was moved because of the July 4th holiday).

The Women of the ELCA (WELCA), Rocky Mountain Synod, will be convening in Cheyenne, Wyoming this year for their 12th Biennial Convention. The theme is Called to Serve-Called to Give-Called to Love.  The dates are September 16-18, 2016.  More information on the convention can be found at You can also contact Jan Young (new WELCA Board Member) for more information and registration materials. There are also scholarships for young women to attend.

Office Hours: 9:00am-1:00 pm Monday thru Friday

Pastor's office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00am-1:00pm.

The Gift Shop is open on Sundays mornings from 9:30am to 10:15am and after fellowship hour or by making arrangements with Pam at 637-2921. NEW items are added on a regular basis.

The Power and Light children's program meets every Wednesday at 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The children finished this year's program and will resume in the fall.

Adult Bible Study meets every Sunday morning at church at 9:00am. Come join us! 

Church Women meet on the third Monday of every month at 7:00pm. The Church Women will be taking a break for the summer and will resume in September.

Crafters meet on Fridays from 9:30am to 11:30am. The group is currently on hiatus.

Sign-up sheets for 2016 for flowers and coffee hour are in the Great Hall on the wall near the door (training is available). Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
